Varidesk has a long reputation of building quality stand up desk converters, typically constructed in industrial grade materials. Now, they’ve come out with a new line of standing desks, but this isn’t your typical converter nor is it a regular full desk. This is a desk that converts into a standing desk with a unique design.

For a manual full stand up desk, this has been the easiest desk to lift, it uses spring and air-lift piston mechanism using two hands to pull a lever, instead of the typical crank system. You’ll be able to adjust to nine different height settings, from 29.75″ (lowest setting) to 43″ (tallest setting).

The setup is easy as well, and only takes a few minutes. You won’t need any tool, just screw in the legs.

The ProDesk 48 comes with five different finishes to compliment your office space. The color finishes come in black, butcher block, darkwood, reclaimed wood, and white.

The overall experience in using this ProDesk 48 has been great. I have been pleasantly impressed with this standing desk. There’s one thing that does frustrated me a little, and the actual use of the desk with the chords. It does have a cable management tray under the desk, which helps a little, but when you have multiple monitors, desks, mouse and keyboard that uses chords, it can get a little wild.
