Every Apple Employee Is Getting Stand Up Desks, Says Tim Cook – ‘Sitting Is The New Cancer’

Apple CEO Tim Cook has disclosed some fascinating details about their new office environment.

At the behemoth new headquarters, Apple Park, rumored to cost over $5 billion to construct, and now everyone is soon going to have standing desks! Apple Park.

Tim Cook says “It’s much better for your lifestyle,” in a recent interview with Carlyle Group, and also cited doctors that say “sitting is the new cancer.

And we totally agree with Mr. Cook.

“We have given all of our employees, 100%, standing desks. If you can stand for a while, then sit, and so on and so forth, it’s much better for your lifestyle”

If you’ve gone through our website, we’ve written countless articles about the dangers of sedentary lifestyle. We’re trying to bring forth information about the benefits of standing and encourage people to start changing their office environment to be more healthier.

Apple hasn’t given any specific details about what type of model or brand they’re supplying the employees, but if I had to guess what Apple is going to, they’re going to customize their own standing desk.

If you’re interested in purchasing a standing desk yourself, we have a complete list we reviewed here. Or perhaps you want to get a standing desk converter, we have a complete list of that as well, here.

I love Apple’s culture and how they’re always trying to provide a healthier culture for their employees, and the purpose of Desk Advisor is to do the same. We hope that we can provide insightful information and guide you to your new lifestyle, whether you’re in the office or at home.
